A Day at Brighton Sea Life Centre

Anyone who knows us, or reads my blog, will know that a current favourite with the 3kids is the Octonauts. The other thing that is a permanent favourite here is seas/oceans and sea/ocean animals.

While I was browsing Facebook a few days ago I noticed a post advertising the Octonauts tour of Sea Life UK centres! Well, it didn’t take very long before I’d booked tickets for us to go to Brighton Sea Life Centre today! We’ve been a few times before and it is a family favourite place to visit, so the addition of Peso and Captain Barnacles made for 3 super-excited children!

On our visit today we saw many different types of fish, Thomas touched a Starfish and an anemone and we went on the Glass Bottomed Boat. We saw a Nautilus (that I don’t remember being there last time we went) a Giant Spider Crab and a Mantis Shrimp. We answered all the questions correctly in the challenge and got medals at the end!

But the highlight of the day was, of course, meeting Peso and Captain Barnacles!
